Production of front cover

In this post I am going to show you a step-by-step guide on how I made my front cover for my music magazine
1st: The first thing I did was i got my background picture on, which is a brick wall. I did this because when I get my cover model on the cover then they colours of her dress go well with the colour of the background.
2nd: I have added my cover model to my front cover. As you can see the colour of her dress goes with the brick wall print. My cover model is making eye contact with the camera, this means that people will be drawn in by her eyes and they will read my magazine.
3rd: Now I have added my title of the magazine to the top of the front cover. My magazine is called shufflin and it is in italics because it looks like it is moving, which is what shufflin is.
4th: I have added my tag line for my mast head to my front cover. The tag line says "your weekly chart update".
5th: Now I have added the date and issue number to the top right hand side of the page. This is because the reader needs to know what issue number they are reading.
6th: I have added two cover lines to my front cover. the writing is
quite big but not so bit that it clashes with the masthead. I have kept the colour white for both cover lines because I think that it makes it look more professional
7th: I have added two more cover lines, these ones are less important than the bigger ones but they are still there to draw the reader in. I have used the same colour font throughout but i have changed the font and size of the text.
8th: I have added "Hannah" to my front cover. The writing for the text is bigger then the other cover lines, also the font is a lot simpler than the other ones. The size of the font shows that this text is the most important thing on the page apart from the masthead.
9th: Now I have added the tag lines to "Hannah". This is to give the reader a bit more information about the article but with out giving them all the information about it.
10th: Finally I added the barcode and the price of the magazine. My magazine is going to be £3.99. It is important to have the barcode and the price on the front cover because the reader does not want to go searching for the price when they are thinking about buying a magazine.
