In this post I am going to be showing you the mock up of the contents page for my music magazine.
For my contents page I have decided to separate the different sections of the magazine.
On the far left hand side of my contents page I have the editor’s letter. This is so it does not interfere with the main parts of my magazine. I have also added the name of this magazine to the top of the editor’s letter because it just reminds the reader which magazine they are reading. Under the title I am going to have a photo of the editor. This gives the reader an insight into who is making the magazine.
Next to that I have the chart information for that week. This was because in my questionnaire, my target market wanted to have some sort of chart update and I think this will work for them.
In the top right of the contents page I am going to put some pictures of some of the different sections of the magazine. I think that this will make it look better an also it will be better for the reader to see what is in the magazine as well as read it.
I have also decided to have another photo of Hannah at the top just under word contents, just to give the reader another look at her before they read the article.
The final things to go on to the contents page are the directions to the pages with the articles on, they will be placed on the right hand side. Then right at the bottom of the page will be a little box that will try to get people to subscribe to this magazine
