Production of my contents page

In this post I am going to show you a step-by-step guide on how I made the contents page for my music magazine

st: I began by adding in these two blocks, I have put them in to separate the contents page and to make it look more organised.

nd: I have added in my editors letter to my contents page. This is important because it gives a bit more information to the reader about the magazine that week.

rd: Now I have added the name of the magazine to the top of the contents page. Also I have added the word contents to the top. This is there to show the reader what page they are looking at.

th: I have added a photo of the editor to the top of the page. This gives the reader an in site into who is making this magazine.

th: I have added photos of some of the other things that are going to be in my magazine. This is more exciting because you wont just be looking at words on a page, you get to see what the article will be like because of the picture.

th: Now I have added another photo of my cover model. The reader gets another look at her to remind themselves of her before they go and read the article.

th: I got from the questionnair that my target market wanted to have chart updates in this magazine so I have listened and I have added it on to the contents page where they can see it.

th: I have added two sections to my contents page. The top one is "In every issue", this just shows the reader what is going to be in the magazine each week. The other section is "Features", these are sections of the magazine that are only in it for one week.

th: I have added another section to my contents page. This one is called "Music", this is where they cover story is placed and other things related to new/old music.

th: I have added my final section to my contents page. This one is called "Reviews", this is where we chose 4 songs, artists, videos, albums etc and tell the reader what we think.

th: The final thing that I had to add to my contents page. The little box in the bottom right hand side of the page is where the magazine trys to get the reader to subscribe to this magazine by offering them the magazines at half price.
