Synergy may be defined as two or more things functioning together to produce a result not independently obtainable. The term synergy comes from the Greek word synergia "working together".
In this case a synergy means styles and colours spreading over more than one pages to result in a easy recognisable magazine.
From looking at different music magazines I have noticed that the creators of the magazine tend to keep the same colours or styles throughout the whole magazine. You can easily recognize which front cover goes with which contents page.
On the front cover they have use a lot of blue and white except of the colours in the mast head. I can see that they have also used that when making the contents page. They have blue for some of the text and when they underline something’s. They have also included the colours from the mast head in the contents page in the chard down the right hand side of the page. I can see the name of the magazine on the contents page, it maybe smaller than it is on the front cover but it is still easily recognised.
There are a few minor things that are the same on all of these pages, such as they have all have some form of white and black on them. I think that this shows sophistication within the magazine and maybe what the article is represents.
There is a definite link between the font cover and the contents page but the colour changes on the double page spread. They do keep the colours from the double page spread over the article pages but it does not correspond to the colours on the front or the contents page.
