Style model ...... contents page

I have chosen this magazine’s contents page to use as my style model.

I have chosen this magazine’s contents page to use as my style model.
It is not from the same magazine as my front cover style model but I prefer this one’s contents page rather than Billboards contents page. This contents page has a lot of order to it; everything is spaced out but not too far away from each other.
On this contents page they have kept 3 main colours: Pink, Black and white. I think that this is a good idea because it makes the contents page look more professional.
They have the editor’s letter on the left hand side of the page, it is not out of the way but it is not interfering with the rest of the information. They have also included a photo of the editor herself; I like this idea because I think the reader needs to see who is making the magazine that they are reading. Also I think that it makes the magazine a bit more personal because you can see her. The photo of the editor uses a direct mode of address.
I also lie the idea of having pictures of what is in the magazine because it is more exciting to see something rather than just reading about it. They also have a photo at the bottom of the page off the magazine itself. This is because they want people to subscribe to their magazine.
On their page the main picture is of a model and that is what I think I might do on my contents page, but I will have a photo of Hannah in that space. This is so the reader will get another look at her.
They have used different font throughout the contents page. I think this makes it look more professional and more interesting. I think that there is about 4 different fonts on the contents page. They don't just use different fonts, they also use different sized fonts on the contents page. Using different fonts are there to steer the reader to important parts of the magazine.
I think that I can incorporate the shapes and layout of this contents page for my own.
